The Future of Work

futureofwork_headerimage

The skills kids will need to succeed in the future workforce are likely to be a combination of hard skills (like coding) and soft skills (like communication). People throughout Australia are implementing different initiatives to ensure that regional kids have the opportunities to develop these critical skills.

We have been busy hunting down examples of such initiatives to inspire other communities to identify different ways they can help their kids get ready for the future too. You can find the examples below.

This hunt has been part of a larger piece of research on the Future of Work. This work identifies the skills that are most likely to be in high demand in the future. It also profiles six different regional communities to see how they are positioned for the Future of Work.

If you know of an initiative that is helping regional kids up skill for the future we want to hear about it. Get in touch on (02) 6260 3733 or email us at [email protected]
