RAI welcomes Liz Ritchie to the team
RAI CEO Jack Archer has welcomed the appointment of Liz Ritchie, who has taken up the position of General Manager, Strategy and Partnerships.
Liz Ritchie joined the team in August this year, moving from Westpac, where she held the role of a Regional General Manager in WA for the Commercial Bank. Liz represented the organisation through external relations and a wider brand positioning in the State of Western Australia.
Prior to her role with Westpac, Ms Ritchie was the WA State Director of CEDA – the Committee for Economic Development of Australia. CEDA’s cross-sector membership spans every state and territory and includes more than 800 of Australia’s leading businesses, community organisations, government departments and academic institutions.
During her time with CEDA, Liz worked with dignitaries, politicians, national and international leaders, including Australian prime ministers.
Liz Ritchie is currently a founding Director of the Australian Gender Equality Council (AGEC), the first body of its kind in the world.
Heralding from Deniliquin in country NSW, Liz holds a strong passion for regional Australia, to ensure its regions remain strong, vibrant and prosperous economies with scale.
As RAI General Manager for Strategy and Partnerships, Liz Ritchie will lead external relations. She has extensive experience leading teams, driving strategy and implementation, as well as stakeholder engagement.
Ms. Ritchie says she is looking forward to expanding the RAI’s external partnerships within government, industry and the community sector to ensure a wider audience and impact.
