About RAC 2031

The Regional Australia Institute (RAI) has created a new initiative called the Regional Australia Council 2031 (RAC2031) – this is the first of its kind in Australia.

The Council gives corporate Australia a vehicle to support the development, investment and prosperity of our regions in a collaborative way, to enhance the lives of Australians who choose to live in the regions.

The joining members will help shape and execute a new vision and national awareness campaign to help promote the opportunities that exist to live, work and invest in regional Australia.

RAC2031 does not function as a lobby group, but rather as a solution-based model to support the work of the RAI and, in turn, regional Australia.

Together, with these organisations, we will continue to ensure that regional Australia is a priority and we hope to create a lasting legacy!

The RAC2031 will focus on four key pillars:

The priority objectives will be developed through the RAC2031 and will be published when they are finalised.

Meetings are held four times a year with relevant political, industry and community leaders invited to participate in the Council discussion.

If your organisation would like to be involved in shaping the future of Regional Australia by becoming a RAC2031 member, contact RAI: [email protected]
