Regional Development Australia Consultation

The Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network made up of 55 committees working with government, business and community groups to support their regions’ development. The RDA’s have been integral the Institute’s development and research areas.

In 2012, we invited non-metropolitan RDAs to provide input into their challenges in accessing up-to-date, region-specific data and requested case studies of regional development success stories to help develop their own strategies. The Regional Australia Institute has used these results to inform its research approach and will continue engaging with RDA’s in the future.
