RAI Submission To Measuring What Matters - Treasury Consultations On A National Well-Being Framework
The RAI is pleased to provide a submission to guide the 2023-2024 Federal Budget formation.
We are proud to present our Regionalisation Ambition 2032 - A Framework to Rebalance the Nation (the Framework). Regional people have said for years that they don’t want to be told, they want to be heard. They want a long-term plan, to contribute and collectively build a stronger Australia and ensure a healthy and prosperous future for their children. We also want this and it’s our role to help achieve this through developing a lasting legacy that we can all be proud of.
While the decision to move to or within regional Australia is initially often based on the availability of appropriate employment and hard infrastructure; the decision of where to move to is often a question of liveability.
We want to collaborate with like-minded partners who can inspire positive change in our regions.
